Course Description
The Facility Security Officer’s Course (FSOC) is designed for individuals interested in a basic level course who have been designated as either the Facility Security Officer (FSO) or the Assistant FSO, and/or professional development of key security staff members responsible for the collateral aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The FSOC will familiarize students with the requirements and practical application of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Mini- workshops, daily checks on learning and a practical exercise will serve as a capstone of the course.
The course will greatly enhance preparations for the ENROLL FSO certification on-line examinations.
Target Audience
FSO's and AFSO's, CSSO's, CPSO's and security staff requiring an understanding of baseline NISPOM requirements.
